Fire Station Visit

We tagged along with Brandon’s scout visit to the local fire station. The firemen were super nice and let all the kids climb in the trucks and see everything there was to see. Bryson was pretty excited, of course! He was the first one to sit at the table when the fireman started explaining things, and he was hanging on every word he said, 100% paying attention. Amazing.

Camping Gear

I talked to Bryson tonight. He was showing me all the toys he got from Gran, a set of camping gear. Here he is modeling his sunglasses for me! He also has a canteen, hatchet, swiss army knife, and binoculars.

Update: Amber uploaded a few pictures of Bryson at his grandma’s house with ALL the gear. It looks like I forgot to meantion the compass and the shovel, toolbelt, and each in quantity! A few more pics:

Scuba Diving

I went with Ken and Eric scuba diving yesterday. The first dive we went to a coral reef about 20-25 foot deep. Lots of color and small fish. The second dive we were looking for lobster, found a few non-keepers, but did run across a few sharks. I’m not too comfortable with sharks swimming around me… the movie Jaws must have affected me back in the day! Coming back to shore we found some dolphins swimming near us, I drove the boat while the other guys snorkeled with them. (see the last video)
