Married Life

Married Life : Three women: one engaged, one married, and one a mistress, chatting about their relationships and decide to amaze their men that night with all three will wear a leather bodice S&M style, stilettos and mask over their eyes.

After a few days they meet again…..

The engaged girlfriend said: ‘The other night, when my boyfriend came back home, he found me in the leather bodice, 4″ stilettos and mask. He said, ‘You are the woman of my life, I love you, then we made love all night long.’

The mistress stated: ‘Oh Yes! The other night we met in the office. I was wearing the leather bodice, mega stilettos, mask over my eyes and a raincoat. When I opened the raincoat, he didn’t say a word. We just had wild sex all night.’

The married one then said: ‘The other night I sent the kids to stay at my mothers for the night, I got myself ready, leather bodice, super stilettos and mask over my eyes. My husband came in from work, grabbed the TV controller and a beer, and said, ‘Hey Batman, what’s for dinner?’

Bears & Bars

Bears & Bars

A bear walks into a bar in Billings, Montana and sits down. He bangs on the bar with his paw and demands a beer.

The bartender approaches and says, “We don’t serve beer to bears in bars in Billings.”

The bear, becoming angry, demands again that he be served a beer. The bartender tells him again, more forcefully, “We don’t serve beer to belligerent bears in bars in Billings.”

The bear, very angry now, says, “If you don’t serve me a beer, I’m going to eat that lady sitting at the end of the bar.”

The bartender says, “Sorry, we don’t serve beer to belligerent, bully bears in bars in Billings.”

The bear goes to the end of the bar, and as promised, eats the woman. He comes back to his seat and again demands a beer.

The bartender states, “Sorry, we don’t serve beer to belligerent, bully bears in bars in Billings who are on drugs.”

The bear says, “I’m not on drugs.”

The bartender says, “You are now. That was a barbitchyouate.”

Two Steps FWD… with Betty

After 6 hours of work in the yard (another fence post replacement, drip system repair, and other fence work) I finally had some time to work on Betty again.

With some creative use of a c-clamp, I was able to complete the rebuild of the vacuum pump. Here are the old parts. Nothing looked too bad, except the intake valve had lots of gunk in it.

Here is a view of the inside of the pump. The roller rides on a rotating cam surface on the engine.

This is about as clean as it will ever be!

Mounted with power steering pump connected.

I went ahead and installed an A/C belt (was missing). I figured the $8 belt would be a good idea to install incase the compressor actually works. These V-belts are a pain to install, compared to v-grove belts that I’m used to.

The next problem!

I thought a small piece of vacuum line was all that was needed to fix this… but it turns out this is another hack job by a previous owner. I’ll be ordering a new main vacuum hose with this special connector.

Good news is that the car has lots of vacuum pressure now, so the pump is working. I drove it around the block and the engine is running great. The transmission shifts hard, but that might be due to this missing vacuum connection.

Video: Bryson Singing and Giggling

We ate dinner outside tonight, and Bryson was having a grand time digging dirt out of the flower pots and running around the deck.

He knows some of the words to “wheels on the bus”, and gets very tickled at the dogs sometimes.

Parts for Betty

I was happy to see the UPS man bring my box of parts this evening.

The vacuum pump rebuild kit was the main thing I needed.

The oil pan was bashed in pretty bad, and leaking, so I figured this $20 replacement was a good idea, since I needed to take it off to replace the gasket anyway.

I ordered an assortment of vacuum hoses and fittings, as this is a never ending battle with a car this age.

A couple of oil, and fuel filters will get me by for a while.

The correct mounting bracket and parts for the air cleaner, to get rid of the tractor parts in place right now.

And some replacement bling for the hood. (along with a new hood release handle so I won’t have to use pliers anymore)

Emergency Calling System for Residents of Collin County

This system will call you and inform you of emergencies.

CodeRED: Emergency Calling System in Place for Residents

Collin Collin County residents can now register for a free, ultra high-speed telephone notification system that can deliver pre-recorded messages to home, business or cell phones in the event of a natural disaster or emergency.

CodeRED gives county officials a way to get emergency messages out to residents and businesses at a rate of 60,000 calls an hour, and can target calls to specific geographic areas for emergencies such as evacuation notices, flooding or a public health crisis.

The free service went online in August, and taps a variety of commercial phone databases for its initial sources of contact information, according to Kelley Stone, Collin County’s Director of Homeland Security.

“Collin County residents also need to know that they can register directly with us to make sure we have the right number to call them when it counts the most,” Stone said. “This is an incredibly effective notification system, but it’s only as good as the information available.”

CodeRED’s residential update link allows residents to plug in their own information – including cell phones or unlisted numbers – that may not be on file with commercial databases. Officials say the information collected will remain completely private and will only be used to notify residents in critical situations. To register online, click here.

Required information includes first and last name, street address (physical address, no P.O. boxes), city, state, zip code, and primary phone number. Additional phone numbers can be entered, and residents can also have message option to be delivered in English, Spanish or to a TDD/TTY-enable phone for the hearing impaired. Because the CodeRED system is a geographical-based notification system, street addresses are necessary to select which phone numbers will receive emergency notification calls in a crisis.

The system is paid for through a state homeland security grant. Collin County contracted with Emergency Communications Network, Inc., of Ormond Beach, Fl., CodeRED’s service provider.

For more information, please contact Collin County’s Homeland Security at 972-548-5537 or (Metro) 972-424-1460 ext. 5537.

Tippmann A5 2.0

I’ve been working on a solution for my paintball marker so I can have the best of everything.

  • Large (and heavy) compressed air tank mounted off the marker so the balance is normal
  • Small CO2 tank mounted on the marker for stability and back-up air source
  • Relief valve to remove tanks without destroying o-rings
  • Lots of knobs and dials, because, well, this is me we are talking about, right?

So here is the prototype:

I still need to work on the mounting, length of the hose, and I’ll have to paint it so it doesn’t shine like a chrome bumper, but I think this should work!
