Comet really impressed me with his hunting skills today. I let both the dogs in the garden area while I was there and could keep an eye on them. Before I knew it Comet had something in his mouth and was running away. It was a tiny mouse. Later in the day, he darted past me as soon as I opened the gate, ran straight for something, then ran back out. Than I heard the little squeaking sound and knew he got another one. Now I know what has been eating up my pepper seedlings. I wonder how they will like their last meal? (peanut butter served on a little lever that triggers a spring-loaded skull-crusher)
