When I came in from working in the backyard, Bryson told me, “I don’t want the Christmas tree down”. Amber has been busy packing up all the Christmas decorations, and the tree was the next thing to be put away. I told him, “Christmas is over until next year.” He immediately started crying so I tried to recover by telling him everything will be ok, it will be back next year, Santa has to go home for a while. Tears were rolling down his face. This parenting thing is tricky!
