The Appleseed class that I’m taking next weekend recommends using a 22LR to save ammo cost, but says it is better to have M1 Garand/ M1A/ M-16 style aperture sights. Here are the TSR100 Tech Sights sights installed on my little rifle.
The front sight was a bear to get off, but it didn’t hold up to my persuasion.
Notice the gap after the set screw is tightened. I don’t guess it matters, but it bugged me a little bit.
