Entry for November 28, 2007 – Lime Plant

I traveled to Marble Falls on Tuesday for a meeting and tour of the lime plant there. I took this picture about 100′ up on top of the tank farm. The kiln in the picture is about 180′ high. Everything is white from the lime dust. Look here (google maps) to see an arial view of the plant and the adjacent rock quary.
