Our nanny was sick today, and Amber couldn’t take off of work, so I was volunteered to be a stay at home daddy today. It started at 5am when Bryson decided he was ready to wake up. After breakfast, nap, playing, eating, nap, bottle, park, etc, we were sitting in his room… he started playing with one toy, then climbing the pile of dirty clothes, then his attention turned to the blue pokadot piggy bank. He started crawling over to it, then started slapping it to see how it reacted, then he knocked it over. All the coins inside made a loud noise as it turned over and settled on its side.
Bryson started crying.
He regained his composure and decided to retry… he again touched the piggy, then it moved again, and again more loud noise. He cried again.
Later in the afternoon we were back in his room. The piggy bank was right where he left it, on its side. He and I were talking and playing with another toy, but every once and a while he would look over at that evil pig and just stare… I think he was just waiting for it to growl at him again!
