After hearing about the book “The China Study” I decided it was worth $10 to find out what it said. It showed up in the mailbox yesterday, and as I started reading it, I was impressed and absorbed. The material is fascinating. The author makes some very tall claims (can prevent and REVERSE heart disease by diet alone) and then proceeds to back up his claims by massive research that he has done over the past 40 years. Americans spend more than anyone else per capita on healthcare, and we don’t seem to enjoy a higher quality of health… my hopes is that at least some of the answers does lie in our diets, and hope I find answers along this path.
