Bryson’s Day of Brithday Bliss

I think Bryson knew it was his birthday today, because he was in an exceptionally good mood. Amber bought him a special shirt so everyone would know what today was.

I had to work late, but made it home before dark. We went out front and played with bubbles for a few minutes.

Are we ready to “eat the cake” yet?

He was a little slow getting started, but soon figured out how to direct some of the sweet stuff into his pie hole.

OK, this is good stuff!

What a mess!

The whole album is here.

I submit yet another example and proof that Chevy is superior to Ford.

This boy is destructive

My co-worker Damon brought a box full of toys for Bryson. He showed me the one his daughter liked best. It was the musical keyboard that had lights and figures than moved and danced as you played. I put new batteries in it, and sure enough, Bryson loved it. He was especially fascinated by the one character that spun round and round. He kept grabbing at the spinning part, and before long, it stopped spinning and just started making a clunking noise. I think there was about 5 minutes of movement before he broke it for good. geez. (sorry Damon)

More Shed Progress

It seems to progress SO slow, but we are making progress at least. Brandon came over Saturday and we worked on trim and filling in holes. Now all that remains is the gable soffit and trim then painting it all. I bought a bunch of heavy-duty shelves… so I can start moving stuff in anytime. Our grass was very tall and thick, and after it was cut, Dasher managed to get grass stains, not sure how, but he looked funny.

In other news:

I went and looked at a couple of Mercedes Benz Diesels Saturday morning. Each one of them was in pretty good shape, but had issues that made them undrivable. The guy made me a good deal, so I bought both of them. I’m going to have to educate myself on how to work on these old cars. Everything on them seems to be vacuum operated. They are too cool though, everything about them… Stay tuned, I’m sure I’ll have lots to say as time goes on. (Amber is sick of hearing about these cars already)

Another Trip to A-Cute-Care

Bryson was feeling bad again today… His ear infection won’t go away. We are moving on to more powerful antibiotics now. Poor kid! I am glad to have Acute Kids Care nearby, those people are great!

Bryson received a package in the mail from Nana with goodies, then he got more good stuff at Gran’s house.

Bryson and John Marshall

John Marshall came over for a little bit of play time. They both seemed to have fun playing in the grass and sun.

The Boy Likes Boxes for Sure

Just like my mom said would happen… Bryson (and I guess all kids) like to play with cardboard boxes.
