Here is a HMI screen I created for a recent smallish project. We added controls to allow storage of product in these new WIP (work in progress) tanks to give more flexibility to the production process. This is an older system, using a AB PLC-5. The graphics are WonderWare.

The legend text on the HOA’s is too big for the corresponding panels; they overlap. Button F01 text is not centered vertically. Elements should be aligned mathematically, rather than visually. Are static graphics set as background to improve update performance?
