My 20 asparagus plant arrived yesterday while I was out of town, so I was eager to get them in the ground tonight. Each plant will have about 18″ x 12″ of room to grow, which is a little more than the minimum. I spent a little more on 2 year old plants in hopes that they will start producing a year earlier.
