I’ve been trying to make sense of what is going on with the health care debate and the Town Hall meeting disruptions I’ve been hearing about in the news. My inbox is flooded with information about why I should be be very afraid of the contents of the proposed health care bill. From what I can tell, there are some very alarming things in there… and it is not necessarily about health care at all, it might be more about rewards, payoffs, power shifts, and that sort of thing.
People are getting upset and disruptive at local town hall meetings too. Some of the propaganda tells me these people are operatives set out to purposely destroy the democratic process, but I believe these are people who are able to discern bull shit from real answers and become outraged by ‘more of the same’ instead of the transparency, hope, change, progress, and improvement we were promised and need. These people are getting fed up, and the numbers of people in this group are growing.
