Bryson and I walked around the garden to record the progress of our food growth. The tomato plants next to the garage are getting huge. The eve of the house is shading them in the day, so I’m not sure how good they are going to do.
The heights of these corn plants is all over the place. Some are tall, some are short.
It was pretty hot, if you believe this thermometer.
Bean plants have quickly grown up to the sky.
Cucumber plants are big enough to start training to grow vertically.
I built this contraption out of scrap fence materials to provide shade to the worm bin. I have much to learn about the arc of the sun evidently….
Tomato and pepper plants are going pretty good.
Another variety of summer squash.
Bryson picked some strawberries. I couldn’t get him to hold the strawberries where the camera could see, smile, and look at the camera all at the same time.
Birds nest on the gazebo. I feel sorry for the babies if the dogs are awake when they take their first walk.
I keep hoping for some plums soon, but everything I found was already partially eaten.
Bryson helped me pick up the fallen fruit and take it to the compost bin.
Lookin’ good……….I can see “Brian’s Roadside Stand” in your future.
Bryson is a good assistant and very cute.
