Amber was t-boned yesterday in the rain. The 85-year old lady who hit her said she couldn’t see the light, and didn’t even know what she hit. As much as I hate excessive government and restrictive laws, incidents like this make me want tougher driving laws… that lady has no business driving a car on city streets; she is irresponsible and her family is irresponsible for letting her continue to drive. How is this any better than driving drunk? Amber said it knocked the car around, but was able to stay out of the ditch.
The step rail is bent down and there is body damage in the door area. I’m sure it can be fixed without too much trouble… I wonder how much this will cost?

I’m glad Amber wasn’t hurt!
do you want to take Memaw’s keys ?
That is a good question. Brian? Are you there?
I guess I’ll have to be the one to give Memaw a driving proficiency test and determine if she is destined to be confined to the prison of home.
Test ’em annually – period. You’ve seen the Southpark episode….
That will cost you about a grand…my guess.
Let’s start an office-pool.
