We’ve heard the hype about the hydrogen economy and the E85 campaign. A popular documentary was explaining how Brazil grows all their fuel by converting sugar beets into ethanol. (not true… Brazil found a nice off-shore source of oil, and that is now their main source of fuel) Wind turbine farms are being built faster than the power lines and windmill parts can be made. There are problems with all of these solutions though. See what you think about this:

consumes CO2 and gives off O2 as a byproduct
20000 to 100000 gallons of fuel per acre per year (compared to 25 gallons for corn)
