Amber and I worked on getting the garage cleaned out… it was a mess. (still is a mess to a lesser degree) I had stuff stashed everywhere and had become so frustrated that I began to not even try to keep it organized because I figured it was a lost cause.
To start with, we re-organized the shed to make better use of the space. We bought 16 feet of shelving yesterday at Sams. Here is the before picture.
Here we have the old set of shelves pushed against the wall and have the new shelves in place.
And, it’s filled up again. (but there is some shelf space left)
Here is what the garage looked like this morning.
And after we moved a bunch of stuff around to make room in the middle.
Now I have to get my workbenches cleaned up and organized. I still have more work to do, but this was a huge step in the right direction.
I am SOOOOO happy to have a somewhat clean garage. I was the slave driver cracking the whip today to get it organized!
will a car fit into it yet?
Nope, still not enough room for a vehicle. I’ve got to move one of the sets of shelves into the shed… maybe I’ll do that tomorrow morning. We also have a pile of stuff to take to the dump sitting out in the middle of the floor right now.
How convenient. Now I don’t have to drive through alleys to do my window shopping.
Nice paint job on the floor.
