Concrete Foundation for Shop

After months of delays due to rain, and then delays caused by the delays, I finally have the foundation for the new shop poured.

These are the templates I made for the anchor bolts

70+ cubic yards of select fill moved in to make a pad  

17 piers drilled (18″ diameter, 12′ deep)

Trenched for the beams, pipe, and conduit (exterior beams: 30″, interior beams: 24″)

Cleaned out trenches, installed plumbing pipes

Installed electrical conduit to house (with several extras), Rebar in beams and slab:

City inspection, almost ready:

Had crew of 10 here for the pour.  It took 82 cubic yards.  We found a problem with the exterior pier placement, so we postponed the pouring of those:
