98 Jetta TDI

I’ve been searching for an economy car for over a year now. I wanted something reliable, cheap, and of course, economical to drive. My target price was under $5000. I finally found one: A one-owner VW Jetta TDI (turbo direct injection — diesel) from the Richardson area. It is clean, well-maintained, and everything works. If I drive it back and forth to work 4 days a week, it will pay for itself in under a year at current fuel prices. It is actually a little fun to drive, since it is so small – handles well, and fun to shift manual transmission.  It even has a fancy aftermarket radio and power door locks with a remote.  As long as it doesn’t blow up next week, I couldn’t be happier.

Now I just need a good name.  German.  Stinky.  14 years old.  Small.  Any ideas?
