Our Lizards

We have had several visitors recently. Amber found this one in her makeup tray in the bathroom.

He jettisoned his tail when she tried to catch him.

This one was hanging out on our dirty patio screen door.

I guess I really should look into killing some of the insects around the house!

Those are called House Geckos and we have them too.

They’re harmless to humans and they eat bugs & spiders. So just let ’em be. (Unfortunately our cats love to catch them)

  2. Nancy says:

No, leave the geckos alone! They are like ladybugs and will keep away the really gross bugs. ;)

  3. Brian says:

I wonder if I could create a nature preserve for these little critters?

  4. Nancy says:

A preserve at your home? ;) Then you might not ever need to call the bug people out to spray! I have seen at least a dozen here in/around our house in the past week. The cats and the boys love looking for them.

Is that strange that both of us replied to this first thing this morning? I just noticed that Jonathan replied….what are we married or something???!!!

  6. David Callaway says:

Nature preserve? Yeah, that would be your second preserve — the first one being for the mercedes.
