Mother’s Day Gardening

Amber, Bryson, and I bought some vegetables and flowers this morning. Amber planted pretty plants in the flower pots on the front porch, 8 hanging pots on the deck, and 5 other deck pots.

I bought some tomatoes, squash, and peppers for the garden.

I filled up my topsy turvys with some tomato plants.

I might get some blackberries this year.

The giant cabbage plant that Glenda brought me is a favorite destination for leaf eating worms.

My plum tree is already loaded with fruit. I’ve got to do something about the leaning issue.

I also bought a couple of honeysuckle vines to replace the one that died last summer.

Glenda said she knew what she wanted for Mother’s Day… to see her grandson!
