I talked Amber into helping me finish staining the deck today. After two trips to Lowes I managed to have enough supplies to get started. I worked on the large surfaces up in the air with a pole, and Amber took care of all the detail work down low.
I knocked lots of grapes off the vines as I was painting the wood around them… as they were falling on the ground, Dasher was eating them. The problem was that I was also dripping wood stain, so now Dasher has some redwood colored spots.
It is great to finally sit back and feel that we are “done” with this project.
